URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP

FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY

The Farm Animal Sanctuary is currently caring for over 500 rescued animals. These include over 400 sheep, 15 cattle, 20 pigs, 15 goats, ex battery hens, turkeys, geese and ducks. We are in crisis. The Foot and Mouth epidemic has severely affected our Fund Raising activities and also prevented us from turning many of our animals out onto the spring grass, therefore feed bills are still extremely high.

We have debts totalling almost £20,000 mainly to local feed suppliers and our veterinary practice. We desperately need help to resolve this situation. For the sake of all our animals, such as Precious and Jessica, we must keep going. Precious was found as a tiny orphaned lamb lying by the side of his dead mother, close to a road on Dartmoor. He had a broken leg, and had been left to die. Jessica, now 17, was brought from market as a very sick orphan lamb. She battled for weeks to stay alive. These are just two of our animals, they all have a history of abuse or neglect.

The sancturary also runs an animal adoption scheme, cost is £2.00 per month or £24.00 per annum. Can you please help us to help them? THEY ARE DESPERATE FOR FUNDS.

IF YOU CAN HELP THIS EXTREMELY WORTHWHILE CAUSE, PLEASE SEND DONATIONS HOWEVER SMALL, TO:

JANET TAYLOR, FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY, MANOR ORCHARD FARM, SCHOOL LANE, MIDDLE LITTLETON, EVESHAM, WORCS., WR11 5LN.
(Cheques payable to FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY)

Thank you very much indeed.
