North East Vegan Gathering


	An ethical self catering holiday at Easter each year, with all vegan food for the week.


	The North East Vegan Gathering takes place every year at Easter at Longhirst Northumberland in purpose built comfortable holiday houses. They are all self catering, and are set together in 75 acres of parkland. The gathering is suitable for families, singles, or couples. There are many events during the week including group meals, talks, workshops, outings and more. The site has a large field and playground and a games room, and the hotel on site puts on a special vegan menu for the week. The gathering is also open to day visitors as locals may wish to come and join in the fun too. There are always information areas showing vegan campaigns, and a small shop run by the organisers selling vegan food. The houses are large and comfortable and contain either 4 or 5 bedrooms, it is possible to book either a whole house or just a room, with a maximum of 10 occupants per house. Each house is well equipped with 2 bath or shower rooms and all basic equipment.
