Whilst the annual camps highlighting the climate crimes of power stations, airports, capitalism etc are no longer held in the UK, activists continue to demonstrate low-impact, sustainable living, and organise direct action.

The Camps held from 2005 at Drax Power Station to  Blackheath in 2011, provided a place for anyone wishing take action on climate change to share their skills and enthusiasms:

• for anyone who's fed up with empty government rhetoric and corporate spin
• for anyone who's worried that the small steps they're taking aren't enough to match the scale of the problem
• and for anyone who's worried about our future and wants to do something about it.
