Ingredients for this weekly meal are sourced as locally as possible, including some form our own community garden.
Food is be served from 6.30 until all gone. Children very welcome. Dogs on leads please. The Forest Fields Social Club Bar follows from 7.30.
Food at Sumac is vegan (pure vegetarian), so suitable for (almost) all diets and all cultures.
As well as raising vital funds for the Sumac Centre, about once a month the People's Kitchen is given over to support other projects such as Food Not Bombs or the Refugee Forum.
Why not join our team of volunteer cooks, servers and bottle-washers. An excellent opportunity to learn more about vegan cooking in a supportive, hands-on environment, or to share (and show off) your existing skills! |
