The money spent by the world on weapons in one week is enough to feed all the people on earth for a year. When millions of people go hungry each day, how can we justify spending another pound on war? More than 20,000 people starve to death every day. If you agree that people need food, not bombs, come and join us!
Food Not Bombs has no formal leaders and works to include everyone in its decision making process. Anyone who wants to cook may cook, and anyone who wants to eat may eat. Food Not Bombs is an act of protest, not charity.
Nottingham Food Not Bombs is currently serving once a week, Monday 7.30pm at the Crocus Cafe, Lenton, as well as assisting with People's Kitchen Meals and Sunday Brunch at the Sumac Centre.
