London Anti-Fur Day of Action + Vegan Festive Party in the evening
Following the recent successful anti-fur march, it's vital we keep up
the pressure on the fur trade in London.
There will be a London Anti-Fur Day of Action on Saturday 12th
December. We'll be starting at 11am, and there will be simultaneous
protests outside various shops selling fur around central London
throughout the day.
There will be a protest at Harrods all day from 11am (Knightsbridge
Tube) you can either turn up there, or contact us in advance and go
straight to one of the other demos nearby.
You can either stay at one location, or travel around and support
different demos. Many of the demos will be walking distance anyway from
each other, but a 1-2 zone travel card would be useful, especially if
you're going to the party afterwards.

In the evening there will also be a festive end of year vegan party and

While fur remains relatively rare these days in most of the UK, London
is still a major centre of the cruel fur trade. There are literally
hundreds on shops selling fur in the capital, from specialist fur salons
such as Hockleys and John Kaye, to famous fashion boutiques such as
Gucci, Dolce & Gabanna, Versace and Armani, and international fashion
chains such as Max Mara,
Burberry, Joseph and Escada, and the only department store in the
country still selling fur, Harrods.
Throughout the year, London activists are out in all weathers trying to
stop this cruel trade, and this is a chance for the rest of us to show
our solidarity with them and to send a message to fur sellers of London.

better, this is a chance to let your hair down and enjoy an end of year
get-together with like-minded, compassionate folk?
Join us on Saturday 12 December for a great evening of tasty vegan food
and drink, great music, dancing and more.
Admission by donation
All food and drinks will be vegan and reasonably priced.
Day of Activism
Throughout the day on Saturday 12 December there will be various
activities in London you can join in with, such as protests and info
stalls, as well as the chance to go out sabbing with one of the London
Hunt Sab groups. So if you're from elsewhere why not come down to London
and get active during the day and stay for the party in the evening,
accommodation can be arranged if you let us know in advance.
