[PrintView] the world, thousands of people will take simple steps to reduce their emissions, cutting carbon and sending a powerful message to world leaders that people everywhere are ready to tackle climate change.

A key suggestion is to mark 10:10:10 with a low-carbon Sunday lunch, ie locally sourced and meat-free, on or around Sunday 10th October. Perhaps follow this up with a Free Vegan Give-Away Stall on Meat Free Monday. 10:10 suggests that you check out the Meat-Free Mondays website for some great tips and recipes!

Here at Veggies we'll highlight this at Saturday's Stuff of Life event, by giving out free samples of the delicious vegan chocolate cake from the 10:10 website and signing people up to 10:10 with the Sign-me-up forms (pdf file) and Low Carbon Lunch Checklist (highlighting the Meat Free Monday link and stickering over the free-range pork option!) .
