/img/arc/brinsleypigs.jpgJoin us raising funds for animal rescue work and the building of an animal hospital.

Brinsley Animal Rescue is a not for profit organisation, run by volunteers on vegan values, dedicated to the caring of pets, wild animals and farm animals.

Our primary mission is to relieve the suffering of animals and birds. Many of the animals that come to us are simply ’surplus to requirements’ from the meat, dairy and egg industry. Because such animals are deemed unprofitable then it is our aim to take them on and find them loving homes in which they can enjoy the retirement they deserve.

As well as stalls, talks, games and food by Veggies, we have lots of specially brewed vegan beer to try and vegan marshmallows will be on sale. We will also have vegan toffee popcorn and vegan cakes. Woo hooo. Come over, chill out and meet the animals.

Whenever possible Veggies feature the publications of the Movement for Compassionate Living, which we print and distribute to promote simple living and vegan self-reliance as a remedy to the exploitation of humans, animals and the Earth. We also support our nominated charity, Vegfam, ‘Feeding the hungry without exploiting animals’. If you can help us with either of these projects at this event, whilst we are busy with Veggies catering, please email pat@veggies.org.uk.
