Sneinton Healthy Living

The event is one of 3 free community family days hosted by the developing Area 6 Youth Forum and Sneinton Festival Committee.

This event aims to promote holistic health and well being.We are hosting lots of activities to enthuse people about looking after themselves and one another better, one of which we wanted to be a fun cook and eat session...

Sneinton's a deprived community and we want to make the food as accessible as possible,. Ideally it would be an interactive thing, where the young people can get involved but just having some healthy food that is accessible is the main priority.

Whenever possible Veggies feature the publications of the Movement for Compassionate Living, which we print and distribute to promote simple living and vegan self-reliance as a remedy to the exploitation of humans, animals and the Earth. We also support our nominated charity, Vegfam, ‘Feeding the hungry without exploiting animals’.
