A weekend of tree planting in the Calderdale Valley near Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire with Treesponsibility:

http://www.treesponsibility.com/about-us/

We’ll be planting trees in an area susceptible to flooding providing a much needed local flood defence.

For £25 there will be two nights accommodation at the Tom Bell Hostel, part of Hebden Hey Scout Centre along with tasty vegan meals provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner 🙂

Bring your bike!
We will be cycling together for 30-40mins from the Hostel to the planting site and back on the Saturday and the Sunday. (But there will be an option to have a ride in a van for those that don’t want to cycle!)

There will be an option for two minibus pick-ups from Hebden Bridge train station with your bikes if you bring them at 18:25 and 20:15 on Friday the 9th of February to take you to the hostel. Please let Treesponsibility know by emailing: treesponsibility@yahoo.co.uk or ring Christina on 07709 690368.

It is basic bunkhouse accommodation so please bring bedding and indoor shoes/slippers.

And bring lots of warm layers, waterproofs and sturdy shoes!

Special dietary requirements can be provided for just please let us know.
