Each year Lush holds a gathering for staff, families & friends, near Poole as a training platform, inspiration tool and generally to have a great time event.Lush is a vegetarian; ethical, environmentally aware company looking for people to provide food that fits within their ethics - which are very much like the ethics of Veggies.
Lush have supported Veggies in supporting grassroots campaigns for humans, animals and the environment, by funding outreach at many of our catering events. With their help, Veggies Catering Campaign created an exhibition to provide insight into work of the included groups. See more at A Dip in the Directory.

To get to this event 215 miles from our home base at Nottingham's Sumac Centre, (and back), Veggies will emit 260kg CO2.
However by helping 1000 people Eat Vegan we will “offset” 2000 kg CO2.
If ONE customer goes Vegan For Life, they will save 1.5 tonnes CO2 every year, as well as saving 4022 animals' lives, and enabling all the world’s peoples to receive a Fair Share of the world’s resources.
What exactly is Lushfest?
Lushfest 2012 is an innovative idea from an innovative company. It merges the concept of an outdoor ‘Glamping’ Corporate event with a huge friends and family gathering.
What are the dates?
From the afternoon of Weds 4th July until the evening of Friday 6th July we will be holding a large scale International meeting, attended by 1200 people from over 50 countries.
On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th we will be inviting 3000 other Lush staff, family and friends to join us for a big Lush celebration, festival style. Tickets for this went on sale to friends & family on Tuesday 1st May.
What will we be requiring from our Caterers?
All Caterers will need to arrive on Tuesday 3rd of July, and be ready to trade by early Wednesday evening.
For the Thursday 5th and Friday 6th, Caterers will be expected to provide Breakfasts and Lunches at set times to fit in around our agendas, so large amounts of people in rather short time periods!
Breakfast will start at 7am, and you will all be provided with agendas stating lunch breaks etc nearer the time.
Dinners will be required, and our License covers us for serving hot food until 11pm, so you can trade as long as you like in the evening, your call!
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th are free style festival days so all day trading.
Monday 9th we will need you to provide breakfast for a minimum of 1200 people, plus any other guests (we’ll have numbers nearer the time).
These attendees will leave site by 11am.
