F.R.I.E.N.D. Farmed Animal Rescue in Kent provide a permanent life-long home for abused, unwanted and orphaned farmed animals. About 150 animals, including pigs, cows, goats, geese, sheep, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, ferrets and a horse enjoy as natural a life as possible in the heart of the Kent countryside. Punk for the homeless

A delightful dish is cooked and served at the Sumac Cafe by a different volunteer team each Saturday. Food is served at 7pm until all gone. The Forest Fields Social Club Bar follows from 7.30. On the last Saturday of each month People's Kitchen is part of a fundraising evening for Punk for the Homeless, to raise awareness and money for Casa Alianza, a homeless charity for street children in Latin America.
