Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the first phase of hearings will be held virtually. The Undercover Policing Inquiry begins in November 2019. The first hearings will cover events from the formation of the Special Demonstration Squad in 1968 until 1972. The first seven days (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 & 10 November) will hear opening statements from involved parties. Planning meetings continue for Nottingham Green Festival, a sustainable-themed festival, organised by a volunteer cooperative planning group. Nottingham Green Festival have sadly decided to cancel the event at The Arboretum planned for 13th September 2020.   As you will imagine it was a tough decision, but the organising group can now work on other options, including: booking for the 2021 Nottingham Green Festival, provisionally on Sunday 12th September 2021. a smaller bonus event in the Spring, possibly in April soon…
