Ethical shopping... towards a better world

At the Sumac Centre, we take our responsibilities seriously, aiming to minimise exploitation of animals (human or otherwise) and the environment. We endeavour to stock cruelty-free products only (i.e. no animal testing or animal ingredients) and source our goods from small companies with an ethical and co-operative standpoint. Since our move from Mansfield Road to our new Gladstone Street premises, we are no longer running a shop as such. Over the years many of the products sold by the old Rainbow Centre have become available in the local high street. However some of the following are available from us, either at the Centre, or at the many events that we attend around the country around the year.
