Volunteer Pack

We're working to create a volunteer pack which will act as a guide to the Centre for new volunteers as well as including such information as our volunteer policy, health and safety procedures etc. It's being coordinated by Ralph, with a deadline of the end of October. If you'd like to help, either with information, with some creative input or by producing some of the documentation, please either leave a message at the Sumac Centre, call Ralph on 07799 897597 or e-mail him at ralph@twoatlarge.com.

October Work Day

Another fine day and another big hole... The recalcitrant sycamore tree stump was finally pulled out and now we can think about rebuilding the wall it was destroying. Some gaping holes appeared too in the old workshop, which the team of volunteers began to demolish. We decided to leave handling the large amounts of asbestos to specialists — hopefully this will be done before the next workday. Many thanks to all those who helped.
