Pagan Pride UK 2018

Come along to the UK’s biggest FREE pagan event; The Pagan Pride UK Festival is now in its ninth year! Join us for an amazing day of talks, live music, dance, workshops, family fun, shopping, art and much more! It’s a FREE festival, with no entry price, and no costs for any of the activities.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re part of the Pagan community, just curious, or simply enjoy a great day out!

Pagan Pride UK works to present a positive and accurate image of modern Paganism, to combat discrimination, and to provide our community with fantastic events where they can celebrate being PAGAN AND PROUD!

The Pagan Pride UK Festival is preceded by a parade through the streets of Nottingham, which is attended by over five hundred Pagans each yet. You can find out more about the festival and the parade on our website at http://www.paganpride.org.uk

Want to get involved?

PERFORMERS: You can apply to perform at http://www.paganpride.org.uk/Pagan_Pride-UK-Performers-24.php. We are looking for performers of all kinds, from speakers, workshop leaders, dancers and childrens’ entertainers, to live bands, acoustic musicians, performance artists and stiltwalkers. Please note that we are a community, non-profit organisation and everyone who participates, from the organisation team to the performers, does so as a volunteer.

Dance Camp Wales

Dance Camp Wales is a camping event located in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Spend twelve days in the beautiful Welsh countryside camping with family and friends.

Enjoy a variety of activities, workshops and events, make new friends, meet up with old friends, the choice is yours.

Festival 8 is a not for profit community organisation. The festival organising committee is made up of volunteers who are not paid for the management or organising of the festival. All funds raised by the festival are spent furthering the aims and objectives of the organisation.

To get to this event, 66 miles from our Sumac Centre base, Veggies may emit approx 60kg CO2.

However by helping an estimated 500 people Eat Vegan we will “offset” 1000 kg CO2.

If ONE customer goes Vegan For Life, they will save 1.5 tonnes CO2 every year, as well as saving 4022 animals lives, and enabling all the world’s peoples to receive a Fair Share of the world’s resources. [refs].

Peace in the Park 2018

Peace in the Park returns to the Ponderosa for a free, all day festival of music and art that celebrates the love of humanity, the power of peace, and the diversity and achievements of our fantastic communities in Sheffield and beyond.

From the music stages to the kids zone, Peace in the Park is a day of dancing, music, arts and more that brings the people of Sheffield together, and you could help make it happen!

Possible Food By Veggies – subject to application!

Peace in the Park is always on the look out for volunteers. If you want to help make Peace in the Park happen, whether that be through giving your time, goods or services contact kinder@peaceinthepark.org.uk.

Peace in the Park festival is organised by a group of volunteers who are artists, musicians, students, events organisers and other everyday Sheffield folk, working together in a not for profit collective. The festival is funded by money raised in advance, to help make the festival happen.
