Stop the Arms Fair 2023

The Defence & Security Equipment International arms fair (DSEI) sells everything from bullets to battleships, bringing together 1500 arms companies and representatives from over 100 countries. The results of DSEI are felt around the world as people are killed, economies are devastated, refugees are traumatised and peaceful protest is crushed.

When the world’s arms industry arrives in London in September, Stop the Arms Fair coalition will do all we can to stand in its way.

Join us at ExCeL Centre West, near The Crystal, Seagull Lane (DLR: Royal Victoria)

Free the MBR Beagles Demo at Home Office & Parliament

‼️JOIN US‼️ Next Monday 18th October outside of Westminster Hall in London. There will be Food By Veggies

Let’s make some noise for the EDM 175! A hearing to hold a scientific and public review into animal testing!

This is monumental in the animals rights movement! There has been NOTHING like this since 1906. We must ensure the government conduct this milestone review with integrity. The last time this was promised was before the 1997 Labour elections. More details from Free the MBR Beagles on facebook.

Some of you may remember Barry Horne, the activist who died on hunger strike in a bid to get the government to uphold their promise of a Royal Commission into vivisection. November 6th will mark the death of his 20 year anniversary.

Let’s unite and make sure animal research is abolished like it should have been back in 1906 ❤️

Animal Rebellion

International Rebellion – UK Action – Continues 7 October 2019

In partnership with Extinction Rebellion, Animal Rebellion will mobilise 10,000 animal advocates for a two-week Rebellion in London, beginning October 7th. We will take part in nonviolent civil disobedience to demand system change, and make sure the need to end animal farming and fishing, and transition to a plant-based food system is central to this conversation.

We are partnering with Extinction Rebellion because they are growing more powerful every day. We believe that this movement is the route to ending the industries of animal farming and fishing and achieving justice for animals, because we know that climate catastrophe and ecological collapse cannot be averted while these industries continue to exist.

International Rebellion UK – Shut Down London!

Our leaders have failed us. It’s time to rebel – and have a damn good time doing it.

Climate breakdown and ecological collapse threaten our existence. Another world is possible, and it’s just within reach. It’s going to take everything we’ve got to get there. So we’re pulling out all the stops and rising up in a full-scale Rebellion against this twisted system to save ourselves and the natural world from extinction.

Meet at Parliament Square at 11am on Monday 15th of April. Come to London to stay – this is not a one-day march. Book two weeks off work, or go on strike. Think festival, arrange to stay with friends or bring camping gear. We will be blockading the city, engaging in civil disobedience, taking direct action, and joined by amazing acts will be performing at sites to be revealed closer to the time.

National Animal Rights Day

You are invited to attend the 10th National Animal Rights Day (NARD) event in London, along with 50 other cities around the world!

* WHERE: London, TBC – Exact location coming soon!

* WHAT: The event will start with a moving Memorial Ceremony for the billions of animals who lost their lives this year by human hands, and will end with a Celebration of the victories we had this year towards ending the suffering of all animals.

The Official Animal Rights March

UNITE FOR THE ANIMALS!

The Official Animal Rights March is an annual vegan march founded by UK animal rights organisation Surge. The march began in London in 2016 with 2,500 attendees and by 2018 TOARM succeeded in a global attendance of 28,000 vegans marching in 25 cities across the world, demanding an end to all animal oppression. In 2019 The Official Animal Rights March is taking place once again, with the mission to spread the message of animal liberation across the globe.

In order to make this march succeed, we need your help. Invite your friends, tell every vegan you meet, this is the day where we unite, where we stand up, rise up and say no more, not in our name.

The future is vegan, but we must continue to speak out on behalf of the animals until the day that their suffering ends.

All details, including the route will be published closer to the time. Meeting point in central London to be confirmed shortly.

Save the date, spread the word – and let’s make history for the animals.

Enforce the Ban on Fox Hunting – postponed til March 2021

POSTPONED TO 2nd AUGUST

Since the hunting act was introduced in 2004 thousands of foxes have been hunted and killed.
Hunt saboteurs have continually been victims of violence with little action being taken by police.

Please bring your voice, megaphones, drums and banners. It’s time to make it known that we won’t stand for this anymore.
