Youth Group
The youth group are using the centre up to 24 hours a week at the moment. The hours are, appoximately: Monday 4-7, Tuesday 7-9, Wednesday 7-9, Thursday 4-7, Friday 4-7, Saturday 3-5 and Sunday 3-5.
They are flexible with their timings and will be happy to accommodate shifting things round to avoid clashes with other sumac user groups and events. If you want to book an event please contact the sumac email address as usual, even if it is during one of these times.
Due to child protection legislation, during kids club hours the sumac main room is closed to other users as with any other private booking. This applies to people wanting to use the computers or do admin in the ‘office’, but doesn’t affect veggies or those working on the bar (cleaning lines for example).
Kids club bookings will be done monthly, not more than a month in advance. This allows other users to book in events in advance while ensuring that the kids club can organise in a timely manner.
Contact details for Dom to be put by each youth group booking in the diary to facilitate flexibility
It is to be noted in the veggies diary that a youth group is taking place but not specific hours.
