Spring Equinox Charity Fundraiser

Around the world millions are suffering from rapid climate change brought on by excessive fossil fuel use. These climate victims need our help. Recently areas of south Asia were hit by record monsoon floods, while others are still recovering from the 2015 Nepali earthquake. Come rave with us to raise money and help put a smile on these people’s faces!

Come and join us for a cosmic journey through music –
100% of door takings and a donation from the bar will be shared between 4 organisations working on the front line. They help rebuild lives and offer safety for victims of climate-induced floods and/or earthquakes.

A huge thank you and lots of love to Benjammin Rose for offering to donate some of the bar takings from downstairs! So just popping in for a drink will help 🙂

Shakti (Suntrip records / Earthdance London / Trancendance)
Invoking goddess energy, Shakti has come whirling into the psytrance scene like a crystal storm from out the blue.

The Goa & Psychedelic Trance DJ is a Shakti and Womb priestess, teacher, sacred dancer, and brainchild behind the successful Trancendance gatherings, and now the new Earthdance London Psy Trance events at Electric Brixton. Also recently signed to Suntrip Records.

Moonpenguin (SEND / Notts Collective / Antiworld / Monastery)
Since the trance heydays of the 90’s and early noughties, Moon Penguin has made ravers stomp their feet in ecstatic dance. He was a regular at legendary underground club The Monastery – Sin Now, Pray Later! As well as kicking up a storm in Nottingham and at Antiworld with his mix of trance, techno and deep house.

Today he puts his energies into the SEND Project, to help young people find a positive way forward in the world. Inspiring them to raise their aspirations, overcome barriers and realise their potential.

Filthy Dave Om (Earthdance / Trancendance / Pure Filth / Dagobah Soundsystem)
After discovering Techno at a Desert Storm/Samovar night a chance meeting with Small Paul from the newly formed Dagobah System led to him being invited to play on their Monday night residency at The Lenton where he became a regular fixture

Many parties later in June 2000 he and Small Paul founded the now legendary Pure Filth nights where he has played alongside some of the best in the business

Indigo Herder (Metempsychosis Lights / Earthdance / Trancedance / Psycle)
Nottingham based Psy Trance and Chill Out DJ. Have been involved in many Psy Trance projects including long running Nottingham Psy Trance and underground dance music night Psycle, more recently part of the residents for Trancendance (formally Ascension) and have played at numerous other Psy Trance events including festivals. Highly eclectic style and extremely wide ranging musical tastes. Over 8 years of experience as a lighting engineer and psychedelic projectionist for Metempsychosis Lights & Happy to play anywhere.

Oopsylon (Earthdance / Numinums / Trancedance / Psycle)
Spawning from a Galaxy far far away, Oopsylon has always had an interest in spacey soundscapes. Upon discovering Psytrance he found a new world upon earth, one that he could really feel a part of. A few years on and tastes developed, Oopsylon pretty much steers clear of the Trancier side of things and focusses his energy on a much wider variety of Psychedelic music.
