“Cage free is not cruelty free” weekend of action

As part of the Animal Justice Project “Foul Truth” campaign, local grass roots animal rights groups will be reaching out to the public with stalls, stunts and everything we can think of to highlight the plight of hens in animal farming.
Despite the impression you might get from the countless adverts showing you cage-free hens living ‘happy’ lives in open fields, the reality is tragically different for the tens of millions of cage-free hens farmed in the UK.
This campaign takes an eye-opening look at the reality of ‘cage-free’, exposing misleading marketing and showing cage-free as the ‘high-welfare’ lie that it really is.
