Drusillas, answer our questions!

Drusillas Zoo laid rat bait inside their animal enclosures recently. This action killed, as well as rats, other animals that were under their care.

Someone that works in the zoo let us know that lorikeets and possibly meerkats and a red panda were victims of the chemical bait.

We took the case to the media and organised an emergency demo, and the local council is now investigating, as well as some zoo related charities, to know the whole story.

Drusillas, on their press release, admired of wrongdoing and of killing lorikeets, but we are still concerned about this case and want more answers. They have decided to not talk to us any more so it is now on you to ask them to own up to it.

This is a horrible situation where “professionals” have neglected and undermined animal lives. They have no other interest but profit and we do not believe it should stay like that.
