February – Chester

We are back in the Garden Quarter, Chester in February at The Deaf Centre.
The Deaf Centre has a fully licensed bar which will be stocked with vegan wines, beers and spirits for you to purchase on the night to enjoy with your meal.
Our nights are communal dining. We are all about the social side of dining; making new friends and sharing the night with others.

All our food is pre ordered and our February menu is published below.

Remember to let us know about any sensitivities or allergies you may have so we can ensure what you eat is suitable for you.
Our 3 course dining experience is £20 per head and a deposit of £10 per person will secure your places with us. We are happy to take full payment in advance or you can pay the remaining balance on the night in cash.
We will email you our account details when you contact us with your menu choices.
A few extra handy things to know….
Our nights begin when we open our doors at 6.30pm and we serve our first course at 7pm.
All our food is lovingly prepared from scratch and is 100% vegan.
We use seasonal vegetables and local produce whenever we can. Our food mileage is kept to a minimum and if it is organic even better! Our sugars, teas and coffee etc are always from Fairly Traded sources too.

February Menu
Starters
Broccoli and Blue – A classic Broccoli and Blue ‘cheese’ soup. All the flavours with none of the dairy. Served with artisan bread rolls. (Gluten Free on Request)

Sweetcorn Fritters with a Duo of Dips – Sweet and lightly spiced fritters served with a hot tomato chilli salsa and a creamy cooling cucumber raita. (Gluten Free on Request)
Main
Mushroom and Ale Pie – A rich and hearty mushroom, puy lentil and ale dish pie with a puff pastry lid and served with hassleback potatoes and seasonal greens. (Gluten Free on Request)
or
Butter Chickpeas – A Vegan twist on the classic Butter Chicken. Spicy but creamy, rich and indulgent chickpea curry served with a lime and coriander rice and chapatis (Gluten Free)
Dessert
Cheesecake duo – Two cheesecakes for double the flavours. One chocolate and one strawberry. (Gluten Free on Request)

Orange and Rhubarb Eton Mess The sweetness of light meringue meets the tang and zing of rhubarb and orange, beautifully brought together with Vanilla whipped cream. (Gluten Free)

Cheeseboard – A Vegan cheeseboard with a selection of cheeses, crackers and pickle. Choose one to share, to enjoy alone or even add as a forth course for an extra £5 per person.
