Film Screening of Power Trip: Fracking in the UK

Come along to watch the newly-released film about fracking right here in the UK! This film is only a couple of weeks old, and takes you to the front lines of UK resistance in the battle to stop the controversial energy extraction process known as Fracking.
The one-hour film follows campaign groups Lancashire Nanas and Reclaim the Power as they shut down the Fracking sites near Blackpool and Balcombe, Sussex by occupying trucks and blocking gates.

Come along to the film screening hosted by Fossil Free SOAS, Solar SOAS & the SOAS Environmental Movement. Fossil Free SOAS are currently deciding the future target of our society, so this will be a good opportunity to find out about fracking and how we can take action! There will also be a chance at the end to find out about the different environmental projects and campaigns happening right here on campus & how you can get involved.
