Fracking company INEOS Shale want to carry out seismic surveys on Notts County Council owned land. A decision was due to be made by officers but after the Major Oak huge demo in January and but was delayed several times during the year.

Now the Labour Group and Ashfield Independents have put forward a motion calling for the County Council to ‘not permit seismic surveys on land owned or managed by the County Council’.

We will be gathering outside County Hall in West Bridgford in the lead up to the Full Council meeting where the above motion will be debated and voted upon.
