Green Hustle Festival 2025

Green Hustle is back with more environmentally-themed events across Nottingham!
Come with us on a journey of connection, collaboration and exploration as we dig into the earth, our common ground, deeply diverse perspectives, and the compost of creativity.
Like Nottingham Green Festrival (on 14th September), this festival is free so you won’t need a ticket or a wristband, there are no barriers or check-ins on the way in, just turn up and get involved.
Food to feast on
Join us in the Old Market Square for a people, power, and plant-fuelled day of connection and creativity with #FoodByVeggies, Himmah Community Kitchen and Abeyo Ethiopia.
Travel that doesn’t cost the Earth
To get to this event, 2 miles from our Sumac Centre base, Veggies may emit approx 0.5kg CO2, even less now that we have recycled our deisel van in favour of an electic Nissan Leaf and electric cargo bikes.
However by helping 250 people Eat Vegan we could “offset” 500 kg CO2.
If ONE customer goes Vegan For Life they will save 1.5 tonnes CO2 every year, as well as saving 4022 animals lives, and enabling all the world’s peoples to receive a Fair Share of the world’s resources. [carbon calculation references]
