Hyson Green Cultural Festival 2017

Hyson Green Cultural Festival returns to the Forest Recreation Ground this summer to celebrate diversity! This free, family event features a full stage lineup of music and performance, plus free family workshops and fitness sessions. From 12 til 6 bring family and friends, and help us celebrate the multi-culturalism and diversity that Hyson Green and Nottingham has to offer!

+ ROMA COMMUNITY BAND (lively Roma beats)
+ IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE (eclectic upbeat Afrojazz/ Afrobeat)

+ ZUMBA WITH CHARM (get fit dancing to infectious South American rhythms. Suitable for all ages and abilities)
+ CAPOEIRA (Nottingham Capoeira return to teach and showcase their graceful Brazilian martial art)
+ WORLD DRUMMING WITH KIDD MKANDAWIRE (learn the art of African drumming)
+ HEALTH CORNER (the health marquee is back to provide free healthcare advice and checks, plus FREE massages)
+ SPORTS ZONE (kids can enjoy summer sports including badminton, archery and football)
