Notts 2nd shale gas exploration – Decision day
Tue 21st March, 2017 @ 09:00 - 17:00

On Tuesday 21st March, Nottinghamshire County Council’s Planning Committee will be discussing and making a decision on IGas Energy’s application to explore for shale gas on the A634 between Blyth and Barnby Moor. The meeting will take place at County Hall, NG2 7QP.
We will be coming together for a presence outside County Hall to urge the Planning Committee to reject the application. We need everyone who is concerned about the threat fracking (and exploration) poses to our rural industries, health, tourism, water supply, air quality and peaceful country life to turn up and make their voices heard.
Although this application is for exploratory drilling, they wouldn’t be doing it if they didn’t want to frack. PLEASE COME ALONG AND STAND WITH US TO STOP FRACKING IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE.!
