Aintree Remembrance Vigil for Grand National Victims
Sat 14th April, 2018 @ 10:30 - 14:00

There will be a remembrance vigil for the 49 horses who have died as a result of racing at the Grand National 3-day meeting since the year 2000.
We will have special placards to hand out to those who join us on the day, which depict the names of the horses who have been killed at the Grand National meeting.
It will be a respectful, peaceful protest aimed at raising awareness. We politely ask you not to shout or to make offensive comments to racegoers, even if they are rude or abusive to you. Anyone at the vigil whose behaviour is not in line with this policy will be politely asked to leave. Police will be on hand should any racegoer be rude or threatening to you.
If you have any questions, please contact us be emailing info@animalaid.org.uk
Please do join us if you can and help raise awareness of all the horses who have lost their lives at the Grand National meeting.
Location: Opposite the main entrance to Aintree Racecourse, at the bottom of the walkway to Aintree Station. (N.B. Parking is impossible at the demo location, so if you are coming by car, you may need to park near one of the other train stations on the Liverpool Central to Aintree line and continue your journey by rail.)
