Ransom Wood’s Earth Day

Ransom Wood‘s Earth Day is a celebration of our connection with the earth, Sherwood Forest and our cultural heritage associated with woodland life.
A registered part of international Earth Day 2016, it will be a family friendly fun-packed day with a host of activities and entertainment taking place from 12 noon till 10pm. There will be music, activities drum circles and food available as well as beers and ciders from King’s Clipstone Brewery.
Working in collaboration with Spectrum WASP (We Are Special People) we have designed the majority of our activities and entertainment to be suitable for young people on the autism spectrum and invite all families to join in with the fun.
This will be a day for you and your family to come along, engage in a variety of workshops and activities, learn about woodland skills and join in with making communal music in the heart of Sherwood Forest.
There will be food available including Veggies specialist Vegan/Vegetarian stand and home-made Ransom Wood Stews
