Fracking firm INEOS wants to hunt for shale gas in Sherwood Forest – and its fracking plans threaten a swathe of central England. But we have other ideas.
Inspired by the legend of Robin Hood and the people who stood by his side to oppose injustice and tyranny, local communities are fighting back against the fracking industry.
Stand with Sherwood to cry out: No fracking in my hood!
Parade leaving from Forest Corner Edwinstowe from 6pm. Gather 5.45pm. The parade will end at The Major Oak.
Please come dressed as a member of Robin Hood’s Merrie Band or simply wear green to celebrate and support the forests.
Lanterns should be LED and no live flames
