Welcome to the Seven Sea’s Festival 2017
World Culture, Food & Music Festival

***In Partnership with the Poole Maritime Festival & Poole Tourism***

A festival of the Seven Seas, encompassing world arts, culture, music and food, including vegan catering by Pyramid Organic.

There will be seven unique areas that will take you on a journey through the seven seas, to experience food, music and culture from around the world.

Arctic Ocean (Iceland/Greenland)
As well as showcasing a wealth of wonderful local seafood, the Arctic area will host the Ikle Eskimos giant igloo with free children’s entertainment and activities. A mini ice-skating rink, face painting and children’s rides will keep the kids coming back for more all day long..

South Pacific Ocean (Australia)
‘I’m A Celebrity’ inspired outback style Australia fused with Bondi-style beach life, complete with: beach bar, BBQ’s, ice-cold beers, surf shops and surfing simulator!

North Pacific Ocean (USA/Mexico)
We take you on a journey into the Deep South, New Orleans with our Jazz and Blues Stage, smokehouse and Creole foods, washed down with bourbons and beers. USA inspired Man v Food style competitions, hot dawgs, ribs and the all American burgers. Then venture over the Mexican border, with our Mexican street foods, Margaritas & Mariachi band, we give you HOT HOT HOT Chilli stalls that are not for the faint hearted!

Indian Ocean (India/Asia)
To experience Indian & Asian culture, with meditation, foods & music. We will take you through Asia, with yoga, Chinese medicines & acupuncture, exotic crafts & Zen meditation

South Atlantic (South America/ Africa/ Brazil)
An infusion of colour, sounds & carnival inspired cocktails, we aim to transport you from the glitz of Rio de Janeiro carnival, with dancers, samba classes and street foods onto an African safari with drum beats and tribal dancers

North Atlantic (The Caribbean)
On one side of the North Atlantic, we wash into the wonderfully colourful Caribbean for you to sample the tastes of jerk chicken & curried goat. Come down to our Irie bar to relax with reggae & rum; stir it up with Bob Marley

North Atlantic (Europe)
The true essence of Europe and the Mediterranean, we aim to encompass the true spirit and culture of these countries, through music, wines & foods. Start your adventure in France, sipping wine and eating cheese while enjoying our can-can girls whooping it up in true Moulin Rouge style. Next, head down the Rhine to Germany and check out the lederhosen at the Bierkellar Bar, whilst nibbling on a Bratwurst sausage! Italy and Spain are also making an appearance; wood fired pizza’s, Italian ice- cream. Maybe watch some traditional Spanish Flamenco with tapas and a jug of Sangria?
Local British foods & produce are here, and we will be hosting an acoustic stage of local talent. Join us in a craft ale or cider. We are not forgetting the Irish, River-Dancers are a must at this event!

Southern Sea – VIP Corporate Hospitality Arena
A beautifully designed VIP hospitality area, with waitress service, will be offering bespoke food and drinks packages -internationally inspired- to entertain clients and provide full VIP hospitality to delegates, local businesses and sponsors

Maritime Event Arena
The Poole Maritime Arena is situated in the centre and is the focal point of the event; it which will exhibit all aspects of Maritime life in Poole. Our Maritime stage will be a platform to showcase performances from local schools and university students; expect to witness circus and fire shows and join in with the odd sea shanty. Here you will ‘see’ a ‘sea’ of maritime inspired stands and stalls, from fishing shops, boat building, gig club, kite surfing & water sports to Sunseeker luxury boats & power boats. A host of maritime experts will also be on hand to share their wealth of knowledge in all things nautical

Harry Rocks – Main Stage
The main stage will rock the socks off Old Harry Rocks! We will be hosting a variety of well know crowd pulling local artists, Iconic tributes bands as well as headlining acts. We can promise you the ‘Fruit de Mer’ of entertainment. All you have to do is come join in the fun. The world really is your lobster!

Ikle Eskimo’s (Kids Zone)
Our Ikle Eskimoss children’s Igloo marquee will house a variety of children’s FREE entertainment, crafts and activities throughout the day. There will be a full schedule of FREE children’s entertainment, to include eco kids Maritime inspired workshops, circus workshops, kids disco and if that wasn’t enough… Come and meet Elsa from Frozen, Pegga pig and friends.
The Seven seas festival is very family friendly with bouncy castles, children’s fun fair ride, face painters and more.

Poole Harbour BIG Wheel
The Poole Harbour BIG Wheel, our giant Ferris wheel and will be a key focal point to this event, providing an amazing view over our beautiful Poole Harbour, to Sandbanks & Brownsea Island
Bird’s eye view of the Seven Seas Festival, the wheel will be open for four weeks throughout May and over Bank holiday

Fairground Arena
The Seven Seas fun fair, will make you scream if you want to go faster and will have all the fun of the fair. We will be offering a variety of rides for all ages, from Waltzer’s to Sizzlers, to the highly decorated traditional carousel.

Harry Rock Main Pirate Bar
Welcome to the Harry Rocks pirate inspired bar, shiver me timbers… ere ye find barrels of beer and cider we stole from an old pirate ship… Or more believable, we sourced from some glorious micro local breweries. With over 30 different ales and ciders for the festival reveller to wet their whistles and enjoy, why not try our specially commissions Seven Seas Ale or Cider??
If beer isn’t your tipple, the bar will be fully stocked with a wide selection of local spirits and classic favourites, organic wines and soft drinks… Or why not Pimm’s O’ Clock… Don’t mind if I do!
A great community family day out for tourists and locals alike, there will be something for everyone, of all ages to experience and enjoy.

The Seven Seas is a FREE event, but we are all about Charity, so if you like us, there will be donations to our THREE chosen charities on the gates
