The Faces of Forge Farm Meats – Vigil in Tunbridge Wells

We’ve been holding vigils at Forge Farm Meats in Tunbridge Wells for the last year. In this time we’ve seen thousands of animals pass through their gates, including ill and injured animals.
In April and May of last year, Animal Aid put cameras inside the slaughterhouse and captured an abundance of abuse. Forge Farm Meats are under an Food Standards Agency investigation for animal abuse charges, yet they’re still allowed to continue killing and trading.
From past conversations, it seems the local people of Tunbridge Wells are unaware of what is happening right on their doorstep.
We will be holding a peaceful vigil, showing the faces of some of the animals killed at Forge Farm Meats.
