Vegan Permaculture Design Course

Permaculture Design Course at George’s Woodland, Ystradgynlais, Powys. Fully residential and vegan – 90 hours over two weeks. Tutors Aranya with Tony Martin.
The Permaculture Design Course (PDC) begins by offering the building blocks of ethics, attitudes and principles which will allow you to conceptually design permaculture systems.Side-by-side you will build technical knowledge and application in these learning areas; soil, water, trees, food, buildings, energy and economic systems.
Senior Lecturer Aranya (author of Permaculture a step by step guide) will be leading the 90 hour course covering a wide range of topics including.
Green manures (soil fertility)
Companion Planting
Principles of natural systems
Carbon and eco-footprinting
Zones and sectors in site design
Element placement in a modelled landscape
Principles of ecology
Limiting factors and resources
Feedback loops: balancing & reinforcing
