Stall Bookings Now Open

Early Bird Discounts extended (for a while).

We really really would like stalls to book ASAP, but really really don’t want to be harsh with increased stall costs. As some point we really really may have to increase costs or close applications for some classes of stall. Please help us out by booking right now. If there is a short delay arranging payment or confirming insurance, book anyway. If you are representing a small unfunded volunteer group we understand that it can be difficult to commit early but please contact us at stalls@nottmgreenfest.org.uk to at least express your interest so that we can keep in touch.

Environmental groups, community activists, craftspeople, green businesses, creative types, organisations striving for a better world, the dispossessed, refugees and good neighbours, capitalism’s enemies, urban farmers and organic gardeners, planners and dreamers – you should have a stall at the Green Festival. This list not exhaustive!

Nottingham Green Festival is entirely organised by volunteers, so your help with early booking is very much appreciated.

We invite you to apply for a stall at the 25th Nottingham Green Festival, at the Arboretum, on Sunday 17th September 2017.

Stall bookings will be invited and accepted by email, with payment by bank transfer or Paypal to info@nottmgreenfest.org.uk.

Before submitting an application read these advice notes carefully. Contact us if you foresee any issues.

Following the improvements to last year’s Festival we are going fully off-grid in 2017.

After such positive ‘feed’back  about the caterers in 2016, the Green Festival is declaring itself to be 100% vegan in 2017. We are therefore asking stall holders not to bring items that contain meat, dairy, honey, eggs fish or animal bi-products to sell at the festival. (Please note that catering and food stalls will be sent a different set of forms).

We are tightening up the insurance requirement and ask you please to follow the packaging / waste disposal guidance.

2017 stall fees (early bookings)

  • These 2016 fees have been offered to last year’s groups and early-bird applicants.
  • Due to increasing costs these fees may be now increased at any time.
  • In particular there may be a £10 surcharge for applicants that are not able to show their own insurance cover.

Voluntary groups & charities – info only – £10
Voluntary groups & charities – fundraising – £15
Statutory or non-commercial – info only – £35

Craftworkers or small green businesses – £50
We invite small green businesses to recognise the great promotional opportunity of being seen by 5000 like-minded people, with potential for sales beyond the actual day of the event.
However, craft workers are invited to buddy up with each other to share a stall. The 3mx3m space is generous enough for two to share. Small sole trader businesses with a low turnover may contact us to discuss costs.

Commercial non-food – £75

Artisan (packaged) food producers – £50 – Separate booking process. Contact us.
Event Catering – £100
All catering pitches are currently full from previous applicants. To join waiting list, Contact us..

Please consider supporting the event by paying a bit extra. Larger groups & charities might consider scaling up to the small business or commercial category to help fill our £2500 funding gap.

Note that stalls are allocated on arrival a ‘first come’ basis on the day. If you want to be in a particular spot, arrive early (or send a friend) to reserve your space. If you are happy to take the next available space, arrive when you like, allowing time to set up by 11.30.

If you are not ready to book, but would like to register your interest in the 2017 event, please email stalls@nottmgreenfest.org.uk. Include ‘stall’ and your group name in the subject line and send brief details of your proposal, email address (essential), facebook, twitter & post town.

You are also encouraged to subscribe to the email newslist for regular updates.
