hard work transforms a car park into an organic urban garden

It had to be hacked from concrete and tarmac. Its beds are a funny shape. It's not huge. But it is our garden, and we're proud of it!

The Sumac Centre garden is meant to be an example to the community of what you can do in the centre of a city, in an unpromising location, with voluntary help, without using chemicals.
