Organised by The Landworkers’ Alliance, a union of farmers, growers, foresters and land-based workers. Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of our members and create a better food and land-use system for everyone.
The event shares a vision of a future where people can work with dignity to earn a decent living and everyone can access local, healthy and affordable food, fuel and fibre: a food and land-use system based on agroecology, food sovereignty and sustainable forestry that furthers social and environmental justice.
Veggies Catering Campaign will be one four main caterers.
Celebrating the best vegan products and brands from the Cotswold area and beyond, Cirencester Vegan Fair will be a true celebration of all things plant-based.
Showcasing all your favourite vegan foods including cakes, chocolate, pies, packaged goods and cheeze (to name a few!). There will also be a range of independent businesses selling a range of ethical fashion, handmade accessories, cruelty free health and beauty products and artisan crafts.

We’re excited to announce our fourth Stroud Vegan Fair happening this summer on Sunday 21 July!
It will be the perfect opportunity for you to stock up on all your favourite vegan goodies from local vendors, as well as the chance to meet up with like minded individuals over a pint of vegan beer (or something non-alcoholic)!
As well as boasting an impressive line up of traders showcasing everything from vegan food to ethical clothing, as well as cruelty-free cosmetics and household brands, the event will also feature an exciting programme of thought-provoking talks and demos throughout the day.
We’ll be open from 10am till 3pm
Cirencester Vegan Fair is back and it’s going to be bigger and better!

The Number of Vegans in Britain has risen by 360% in the last 10 years and over a quarter (28%) of meat eating Brits have chosen to actively reduced or limited their meat consumption in the last few years.

As well as an impressive line up of traders we are also very excited to host the Vegan Human Book Library and a programme of talks, demonstrations and hands on workshops.

Stroud’s 1st Vegan Fair will be taking place on Sat 20th January 2018 and promises to a massive plant based celebration!
Veganism, as a sustainable way of life has become an unstoppable energy with especially huge growth in demand in the cruelty-free food market. The Stroud Vegan Fair on Sat 20th January will showcase everything from tofish and chips, pies and cheese and cakes, sweets and ice cream. As well as clothing, body products, arts, crafts and lifestyle brands.
The event will also be held during Veganuary, which since starting in 2014 has inspired thousands of people to try vegan for January and throughout the rest of the year.
Anyone who wants advice or support to continue with Veganuary (https://veganuary.com/), Meatless Mondays (http://www.meatlessmonday.com/) or reducing meat intake will find lots of hints and tips here from local vegans with talks, demonstrations and cookery live-streaming running throughout the day, as well as fun activities for children. A day of feasting and celebration to remember.
We are looking for local businesses to take part in a new and exciting vegan lifestyle event at the Subscription Rooms next January. The organisers have formed a team to bring the best of plant-based living to Stroud.

You are invited to attend the Earth First! Winter Moot, a gathering for people involved or wanting to know more about ecological campaigning and direct action in the UK.
Earth First! is a banner for independent groups who share a common need to protect our ecological systems. We believe in non-hierarchical direct action, to stop and reverse the forces responsible for the destruction of the earth and its inhabitants.
Those taking their first steps into ecological campaigning are warmly welcomed. There will be debates, discussions on campaign planning, updates, support and solidarity, tactics, strategies, community building, sustainable activism and networking including groups campaigning against fracking, incineration, new roads, GM (genetic engineering) and much more..
