The 31st British Juggling Convention (BJC 2018) will be held in Canterbury.

The British Juggling Convention is one of the four largest juggling conventions in the world. Attendance can vary, but BJCs have attracted between 500 – 1,000 people in recent years.

The event is traditionally held at a different location during the Easter holidays every year and is organised by a new team of volunteers; “run by jugglers for jugglers“.

We are delighted to have been asked once again to provide Food By Veggies! Our first BJC was in Nottingham 2007 & again in2011, followed by Pickering 2013, Barnsley 2014 & 2015, Nottingham 2017

F.R.I.E.N.D – FRIEND Farmed Animal Rescue

Animals at FRIEND Sanctuary

F.R.I.E.N.D. Farmed Animal Rescue in Kent provide a permanent life-long home for abused, unwanted and orphaned farmed animals. About 150 animals, including pigs, cows, goats, geese, sheep, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, ferrets and a horse enjoy as natural a life as possible in the heart of the Kent countryside.

We have volunteer days where people come up and help do jobs around the sanctuary, feeding the animals and many other tasks.

Volunteer work days on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month are organised by the  London Animal Rights meet-up group.

If you’re coming from somewhere else on these days you can still get in touch with them.
