Happy Holidays Everyone,
This year the Norwich Vegans will again be hosting a Bring and Share (Potluck) Holiday Meal at the Quaker Meeting House, Norwich on Saturday the 16th December.
The idea is that everyone brings a dish(or two, or three ) think in terms of starters, mains, sides, desserts, and we all share a nice meal. We will have kitchen access, so there is the possibility of reheating food if needed
Everyone is welcome, including children, but we do have a seating limit of about 50, so please only mark going if you’re sure you can make it. Entry is £2 each please, to cover the venue hire.
There’s some amazing recipes about for the holidays, and of course store bought food is also always welcome. It’s appreciated if you can write ingredients or allergens for your dish for those with gluten or nut free diets. Drinks are also appreciated, but please bear in mind Quaker rules state no alcohol on the premises. As a good friend has said, who needs alcohol when with our lovely vegan friends anyway 🙂
We’re very excited about this, and hope all of you will be too <3

“Replaced drugs, cancer & bulimia with surfing, veganism & meditation. Now it’s my goal in life to educate, encourage and inspire others.
I took a 1yr Vow of Silence, cycled 5000km, got tattooed for 25hrs and have given over 150 speeches to do my part in making this world a better place for us ALL to live!”

“Hi my name is Joey Carbstrong from Adelaide, Australia. I am a fierce advocate for animal rights and a sober lifestyle promoter. I spent 12 years of my life abusing drugs and alcohol and was heavily involved with gangs and violent crime. After spending some time in prison I had an epiphany which changed my life forever. I’ve overcame a Number of mental health issues and have been drug-free for over three years and I will never look back. I now spend my time promoting a sober vegan lifestyle and passionately defending animal rights with my street activism and social media presence. I also counsel and support people going through addiction and depression or just wanting to go vegan. Im grateful for my second chance at life and I’m just at the beginning of my journey to helping make this world a better place. Peace.”
