vegan-camp-annual-vegan-camping-holiday

Vegan Camp UK, the original vegan camp established 1981, is a friendly and enjoyable annual social gathering for singles, couples and families, not to be confused with any other similar named group.

This year’s venue: Diglea Camp Site, 32 Beach Road, Snettisham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk PE31 7RA

Friday 28th July – Sunday 6th August 2023 (10 days, nine nights)

(Please note that all booking must be done through us rather than the camp site).

You can visit their website to see the facilities there.

https://www.digleacaravanpark.com/

Families, Couples & Singles all welcome. You can come for any period of time between 28th July  and 6th August 2023.

There is a facebook group to discuss things of interest to the Vegan Camp community, who organise the camp collectively.

We are a diverse group whose ages range from babies up to those in their 80’s, with singles, couples and families attending. Some people come every year. Some come when we are in their area.  What is consistent is the friendly, helpful and fun atmosphere at our camps.

We have many children attending each year and it is an ideal time for them to meet other vegan children. Children and adults too form many friendships at the camp.

Looking forward to meeting you at the campsite …

*Vegan Camp is a Not For Profit group managed by unpaid volunteers.

The Land Skills Fair 2023

The Land Skills Fair 2023

20th – 23rd Jul 2023

at Abbey Home Farm, Preston, Cirencester, GL7 5HF

Organised by The Landworkers’ Alliance, a union of farmers, growers, foresters and land-based workers. Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of our members and create a better food and land-use system for everyone.

The event shares a vision of a future where people can work with dignity to earn a decent living and everyone can access local, healthy and affordable food, fuel and fibre:  a food and land-use system based on agroecology, food sovereignty and sustainable forestry that furthers social and environmental justice.

Veggies Catering Campaign will be one four main caterers.

Earth First! Summer Gathering 2023

The Earth First Summer Gathering is back!

Five days of skill-sharing for grassroots ecological direct action – make links, share ideas, and get involved in the struggles against open cast coal, fracking, new roads, HS2, climate criminals and more.

The Earth First! Summer Gathering is the place where people involved in radical ecological direct action – or those who want to be involved – get together for five days of time and space to talk, walk, share skills, learn, play, rant, find out what’s going on, find out what’s next, live outside, strategise, hang out, incite, laugh and conspire.

The workshops, networking and planning of actions at this low impact eco-living camp is organised non-hierarchically. It’s run without leaders by everyone who comes along, so come prepared to chip in!

The Gathering may have parallel workshops coordinated as an embedded UK Animal Rights Gathering.

Veggies Food is HereVeggies will coordinate a diy cafe space, tuck shop, vegan cake baking workshops, with main catering coordinated by Eat First!

Green Gathering- Chepstow, 2023

A four day festival beyond hedonism powered by wind, sun and people… just the best!

Educate for sustainability, create alternatives, frolic in fields. Powered by wind, sun & people, and Food by Veggies. Veggies hope again to be supporting a Co-operators Camp together with Radical Routes & others, in the Campaigns Zone.

We are continuing to push forward our minimal packaging  policies – extending the use of proper mugs to serving soft drinks in returnable beakers, to reduce use of single use plastics & straws.  We have now established distribution of our Ethical Consumer Best Buy Burger/Sosage Mixes to many other caterers to help raise their ethical sourcing and ended the production of frozen foods.
