Saltaire Vegan Festival 2018

** BIGGER & BETTER // SAVE THE DATE! **

Read on to hear all our plans for 2018…

Following on from the huge success of the first Saltaire-Bradford All-Vegan Festival earlier this month, we’re pleased to announce the date for next year’s (snappily renamed) SALTAIRE VEGAN FESTIVAL 2018.

** STALLS ACROSS TWO FLOORS **
You wanted more stalls, and that’s what we’re going for! We’re booking the whole of Victoria Hall to give us enough room for everything – that means we can have stalls upstairs as well as in the Main Hall.

** LIVE MUSIC + ENTERTAINMENT **
A popular request was music and entertainment. If you would like to perform at our festival, please message the page.

** KIDS’ ACTIVIITIES / FAMILY ZONE **
We’re dedicating one room to kids’ activities so parents can go and enjoy the festival. If you’ve experience running kids’ activities, please get in touch!

** COOKING DEMOS **
Either the stage in the Main Hall or the dining area will be the venue for a series of cooking demos. Caterers, if you’re coming and would like to run a demo, you know who to contact.

** MORE TALKS & SCREENINGS **
Sea Shepherd and Alex Lockwood put on excellent talks on the subject of animal rights that were really well received. Next year we hope to have an even more extensive programme of speakers and documentary screenings, covering such topics as plant-based nutrition and how to transition to vegan lifestyle.

** MORE FOOD & DINING AREAS **
People wanted more hot food and more cakes, so we’re going to try our best to book some of the very best vegan caterers on the festival circuit right now. You also wanted somewhere to sit – expect more tables and chairs and a separate dining area.

** FOOD SAMPLES GALORE! **
The tasting table went down a treat, so we’re going to improve on it with a greater variety of vegan samples (and protection from the wind!). If you have a food product you’d like people to try, please contact the page.

** BETTER GOODYBAGS! **
We’ll fill out the goody bags with great freebies from a range of vegan suppliers across the country. Want people to give your vegan goodness some extra exposure? Contact the page!

** SAME ENTRY COST, BUT MORE VALUE **
All this for just £3 entry? We wanted to keep the same low entry price but give you guys even more value for money. After covering cosfs, any money we take on the door will go to a local animal sanctuary and other vegan causes – more on our 2018 beneficiaries closer to the time.

** TICKETS AVAILABLE TO BUY ONLINE **
You can pay on the door, but if you’d like to pay in advance or don’t carry change around with you, visit https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/saltaireveganfestival.

** WANT TO GET INVOLVED? **
If you want to book a stall, volunteer, perform, run children’s activities, put on a cooking demo or give a talk, please message the page or email saltaireveganfestival@gmail.com. Thanks! x
